I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
